N-BEAM Introduces it's Charter Members!

The New Band Electro-Acoustic Music consortium (N-BEAM) is proud to introduce the two charter members of the consortium:
Patrick Henry Middle School, Woodhaven, MI, under the direction of Brad Faryniarz
Shumate Middle School, Gibraltar, MI, under the direction of David Brockington
Both schools hail from the "Downriver" region of Wayne County, Michigan. These schools often perform in events sponsored by the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA), the Scholastic Marching Band Association (SMB), the Downriver Music Guild (DMG), and the Michigan Music Educator's Association (MMEA). The N-BEAM consortium project is proud to have these fine organizations on board as charter members.
As members of the N-BEAM consortium, they can look forward to receiving three new pieces of electro-acoustic concert band literature over the next three years by Benjamin Taylor (2018), Daniel Montoya (2019), and Alex Shapiro (2020).
