N-BEAM Composers Chat

The composers of the N-BEAM consortium - Benjamin Taylor, Daniel Montoya Junior, and Alex Shapiro - sat down with Consortium Director James Mobley, at the 2017 Midwest Clinic in Chicago. They discussed the New Band Electro Acoustic Music project as a whole, and to give some insight into their thought process leading into each of their individual compositions (including our first composition, Techno Blade, by Benjamin Taylor). They had such a great time talking with each other, and we anticipate that this genuine connection between each of the composers will translate into three inspiring pieces that speak to and with each other.
